Step 1: Get Started – Adobe Certification Exam Guides

Certification exam guides recommend the skills you need to have, so that you know when you are ready to take the Adobe certified exam. You are not required to complete training before taking an exam; however, training can increase your skills and knowledge.

Review the exam guide regularly to ensure that you're on track to pass your certification exam. Exam guides contain:

Exam topics and question distribution: understand the key skills and percentage of questions per subject area
Online sample tests to gauge your knowledge (not yet available for all exams)
The recommended job experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities required to pass the exam
Costs, how to register, the number of questions, time limit, and passing score

Recertification exams have fewer questions, are lower-cost, and designed to test your knowledge on newer application capabilities
When you pass, your certification is renewed for two years
You must take the renewal exam before your certification expires. If it expires, then you must take the regular exam to renew.

Think you know your stuff? Move through on-demand training modules faster by using the "test-out" option, where you can pass quizzes on product capabilities. Keep checking your exam guide to ensure that you're learning what you need to know to pass.

Learn from an experienced instructor with Adobe Digital Learning Services. Cost-efficient, live classes are taught by Adobe experts.

Training includes hands-on practical work and use cases
Offered at Adobe locations, virtually, or onsite at your company

Step 3: Take the Exam

Exams are offered by third-party exam providers, PSI and Examity. They have testing centers located around the world, making it convenient for partners to get certified online or at a location, where available. (PSI is the only testing provider available in Japan.)
